Bible has not changed

Skeptics would love to foolishly argue that the Bible has been change over the years and we can not trust the ones we now have. The fact however is that the Bible has not changed over the years and you can rely on them 100%. Here are the reasons.
  1. Atheists start their though process from a per-supposition that God does not exist. So they don't see how the scripture can exist without being corrupted. The fact however is that God exists. He has brought the Bible into existence for "for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (II Tim 3:16). So obviously he has protected it for us. Nor is He powerless to just watch His scripture being corrupted. In fact there is punishment on those who try to corrupt or change the Bible.
  2. Documentary evidences also exist that shows that Bible has not undergone changes. This website gives a clear picture on this.

  3. There are also archeological evidences that show that the Bible has not been changes. This site gives a good picture on this.

So if any skeptic of atheist wants to argue that the Bible is corrupt or has been changed over the years, the he will have to first prove that God does not exist.

Very few if any atheists assert that the bible has changed, in fact because the bible has not changed supports the atheistic viewpoint. The fact that it was written in the bronze age by illiterate or semi-literate goat herders according to the knowledge and social mores of the time and has survived into a scientific age without those responsible admitting that it is archaic, scientifically and geographically inaccurate, bulging at the seams with logical fallacies and consistently contradicting itself. Science on the other hand will happily admit to error and refine its work or even start again, religion will never do that, as someone once said 'If the facts don't fit the theory science will reject the theory, religion will reject the facts', that is why the bible doesn't change. Once again, it is not for anyone to prove god does not exist, you after all can't prove the universe wasn't created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster but you don't believe it. I can no more prove the non-existence of god than I can of Santa Claus or the Easter bunny nor is it any more important that I do. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and you are the one making the claim for his existence. Over to you.

    1. You need to read what you have typed. Let me quote it here. "..it was written by illiterate or sem-literate...." But if you read it's text it is clear that the the writers were not semi-lieterates. The jewish scribes were not semi-literate but well educated in their times.

You say things like "scientifically and geographically inaccurate, bulging at the seams with logical fallacies and consistently contradicting itself." I would just disagree with this. It does not have any inaccuracies.

The reason why the Bible did not change is because there exist a God who protects it.

You atheists always want to make us out to be some fools who does not understand basic logic. We are not fools. I understand that it is not logical to ask someone to prove the non-existence of something. We Christians know that a God exists and we have a personal relationship with Him. You come along and "CLAIM" that He does not exist. That is not the fact, but is just what you claim. When you make a claim you need to back it up with evidences. Or show us how we can find some evidences. You cannot do that. All you can do when faced with this argument is, bring up the spaghetti monster.

I cannot show you evidences but I can show you how you can see the evidences. You can do neither.

Ann, can't you see that everything you accuse me of you are guilty of yourself. You 'CLAIM' that god exists. That is not fact, it's just what you claim. When you make a claim you need to back it up with evidence or show us how we can find some evidence. You cannot do that. All you can do when faced with this argument is CLAIM you have proof (sound familiar?). I'm sorry Ann but you do not. I can indeed show you evidence: read some books other than the bible, try biology, embryology, paleontology, geology and pretty much any other 'ology' you can imagine and you find, if not all the proof you need, certainly a very very convincing argument to support a 'no god hypothesis'. When you have done that go back to your bible and read it again, properly this time, not just the bits that agree with your view, and you will see the inconsistencies, inaccuracies and plain old physical impossibilities that make up the fairy tale.
Once again I will say, you are the one making the fantastic claims and so it falls upon you to prove what you claim, I make no claims that god doesn't exist, I just don't believe he does just as you don't believe Santa Claus exists. I wouldn't expect you to prove to me santa's non existence any more than you should expect me to prove god's.
If, as you claim, your faith is built on personal revelation then that makes your god just that - your god, and as such your relationship with your invisible friend should be personal to you and remember, your revelation does not confer upon you the right to proselytize to those who don't share your beliefs.

May the Sauce be with you

      The Reverend

    3. Let me put it in another way. God has given you freedom of choice. If you choose to follow Him it should be purely a choice from a free will. You believe a lot of stuff that science has given you. Have you personally seen those experiments they have conducted? Have you personally conducted experiments on the fossils that are available? No. There are others who have done those experiments and you take their word for it. They say and you accept it. God, however wants each person to see evidences for themselves. That is why I cannot show you evidences to you. You need to see it for yourselves.

In fact I would say that we are the people who have better evidences that each of us have seen personally.
